Responsibilities
As a Sr Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Overseeing all stages of project life cycle, from initial pre-construction planning to successful execution and completion.
- Managing and negotiating contracts with a focus on maintaining budget control and maximizing profitability.
- Leading and mentoring a dedicated construction team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages high performance.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Managing change orders effectively to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
- Regularly liaising with stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
To be considered for this pivotal role, you should possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior project management role within the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in contract management, budget management, strategic planning, team leadership, construction management, change orders, negotiation, and pre-construction.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing contracts and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential project risks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite.
