This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Sr. Superintendent-Traveling, your responsibilities will include
- Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
- Ensuring all construction activities align with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Supervising construction personnel and ensuring they adhere to project schedules and budgets.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and regulations are met.
- Resolving any on-site issues or disputes that may arise.
- Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Traveling to various construction sites as needed.
To qualify for this role, you must have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in hotel, hospitality, ground-up, high-end, and condominium construction.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and adapt to diverse environments.
- Proficiency in construction software and MS Office.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid certification in construction safety and project management will be a plus.
