We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent specializing in Custom Homes within the Construction industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of our custom home projects and requires a hands-on approach to managing all on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate must be proficient in quality control, team leadership, communication, subcontractor management, site management, and have a thorough understanding of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations from start to finish of custom home projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of all subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Regularly inspect work performed by both employees and subcontractors for quality and adherence to blueprints and building codes.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address any issues or changes in the project.
• Lead and manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site to ensure the well-being of all workers.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise, making critical decisions on the job site to keep the project moving forward.
• Manage all site logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials and equipment, and the coordination of work schedules.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, specifically in custom home building.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and completing custom home projects from start to finish.
• Exceptional knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in subcontractor management and site management.
• Experience in implementing and enforcing safety protocols on a construction site.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
