We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Survey CAD Tech to join our innovative Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career in a fast-paced environment where they will be working on a diverse range of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying drawings, completing drafting projects, and producing high-quality work that meets our clients' needs. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in CAD Drafting, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and Land Surveying.

Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Survey CAD Tech to join our innovative Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career in a fast-paced environment where they will be working on a diverse range of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying drawings, completing drafting projects, and producing high-quality work that meets our clients' needs. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in CAD Drafting, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and Land Surveying.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing CAD.
- Develop accurate layouts, assembly drawings, and details.
- Take the lead on projects and supervise intermediate and junior staff.
- Analyze sketches, notes, and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision.
- Utilize strong drafting skills and have a solid understanding of Civil 3D in developing the design of engineering projects.
- Provide technical support to design staff on the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting tools and software.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure the drawings are accurate and complete.
- Assist in the implementation of CAD standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD Drafting, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and Land Surveying.
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Drafting, Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 3D and Civil 3D software.
- Experience in land surveying is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to learning and using emerging technologies.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
