Job Details
Currently they are looking to add a Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper who can work out of their office in Ozark, AL.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file both current and prior years’, multi-state and federal income tax returns, for individuals and businesses by the IRS-established deadlines
- Use comprehensive tax knowledge to execute tax strategies and maximize any potential benefits and deductions
- Prepare financial statements for business clients
- Reconcile and verify accuracy of accounts
- Establish and cultivate relationships with clients and team members to provide the highest quality of service to our clients and determine the best ways of addressing their needs
- Communicate with clients and team members in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service
- 2 years' experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation
- 2 years' bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of tax rules and accounting procedures
- Knowledge of tax preparation software and QuickBooks
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and highly-organized with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
