Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar plus
- 2 Years of Quality Assurance or Testing Technician experience
- Familiarity with testing standards, test protocols, and concrete materials
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Serve as a Test Witness for QA activities at a world-class, sole-of-its-kind North American testing facility
- Oversee and verify approval testing for nails and concrete components in accordance with defined standards
- Ensure technicians are following correct test procedures for approximately 10 standard tests
- Learn, understand, and reference specific testing standards applicable to materials and performance validation
- Manage inventory and track incoming concrete slab shipments, including associated concrete cylinders
- Occasionally core concrete slabs to extract testing samples when cylinders are not available
- Handle 30 lb. concrete samples for sample testing and quality checks
- Perform a variety of additional tasks in slower periods, from labeling samples to facility maintenance and organization
- Autonomously operate with minimal supervision
