Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support our Quality Assurance Department in the verification of customer orders for our airplane manufacturing operations. This full-time 1st shift position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with procedures, FAA regulations, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive part inspections, determining FAA approval types, completing required documentation, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of orders.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete part inspections on customer orders to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Determine FAA approval type and part application for each order.
- Complete required documentation, including FAA 8130-3 forms, non-regulatory documentation (ATA 106), and certs / reports.
- Verify parts and scanning documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Route work according to its weight requirement and re-direct if necessary
- Enter relevant information into SAP and scan materials in and out of QA.
- Support other QA areas as directed by QA leadership.
- Ensure adherence to customer flow-down requirements for verification compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders to meet customer satisfaction standards.
