Job Summary :
The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting the assembly line by utilizing a wide variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, and some wiring harness experience. The technician will assist with tearing down overhaul units, supporting new production builds, cleaning refurbished parts, and assisting with wire assembly and harness builds for both new and overhaul pedestals. Experience with soldering and calibrated tooling is preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the assembly line by tearing down overhaul units and supporting new production builds.
- Clean old parts from refurbished pedestals.
- Assist with wire assembly and harness builds for both new and overhaul pedestals.
- Use a variety of hand tools, calipers, depth gauges, and micrometers to perform assembly tasks.
- Utilize soldering techniques as required for harness builds.
- Work with calibrated tooling and ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.
