Talascend is currently seeking a Assembly Technician for a contract opportunity in Mason, OH.
SUMMARY :
This role is focused on mechanical assembly, requiring proficiency in using a range of hand tools, precision instruments (such as calipers, depth gauges, and micrometers), and some experience with wiring harnesses. Preference will be given to candidates with soldering experience and familiarity with calibrated tooling.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in the disassembly and overhaul of units on the assembly line.
- Support new production builds and the refurbishment of pedestals, including cleaning and prepping old parts.
- Contribute to the wire assembly and harness building for both new and overhauled pedestals.
- Ensure all work is performed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
