Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Cloud and On-Prem DevOps Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions, automate deployment pipelines, and support software development.
The ideal candidate will have a proven success in delivering DevOps transformations and driving cloud adoption at an enterprise level.
They should have expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, microservices, and CI / CD.
This role demands leadership in DevOps transformation and cloud adoption for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and establish DevOps / DevSecOps best practices, guidelines, and standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on container orchestration technologies, microservices, cloud-native development, and DevOps solutions.
- Educate and guide developers and operations team members on DevOps and container technologies.
- Design and implement new CI / CD pipeline architectures and processes.
- Foster a dedication to code quality, automation, and operational excellence.
- Decompose complex problems into simple solutions.
- Understand system inter-dependencies and limitations.
- Influence technical decisions across multiple teams to improve productivity.
- Lead technical and design discussions with product and application managers.
- Advise on implementing best practices and provide architectural governance.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools.
- Architect cloud-native CI / CD workflows and tools such as Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, GitLab, and ADO.
- Design and build applications using container and serverless technologies.
- Experience with application development and programming languages (e.g., C , C#, .Net Java) and scripting / coding (Python, JavaScript, HTML, etc.), SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Develop solutions architecture for private, public, and hybrid cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, etc.).
- Experience in infrastructure migration approaches, including mass application transfers to the cloud.
- Hold architect certifications in cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google).
- Interact directly with clients, managers, and end-users to analyze project objectives and requirements.
- Demonstrate consulting experience and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Drive initiatives to automate processes and build cross-functional leadership.
- Review deployment and delivery pipelines to identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide strategic technical solutions that follow best practices in cloud architecture.
- Ensure CI / CD and SCM practices factor in non-functional requirements like resiliency and security.
- Work closely with Architecture, Application Development, and Quality Assurance teams.
