Job Summary
We are seeking an HR Advisory Specialist to provide high-quality advisory support to HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Business Unit (BU) Managers, and leaders on various HR focus areas. The role will cover both routine and ad hoc matters, including reasonable accommodations, background escalations, and Tier 2 leave of absence cases. The ideal candidate will collaborate with both global and regional HR colleagues to support people initiatives, and work effectively to ensure high-quality service delivery and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisory Support : Provide day-to-day advisory support to HR Business Partners, BU Managers, and employees on various HR matters, including reasonable accommodations, background escalations, and leave of absence cases.
- Collaboration : Partner with global and regional HR colleagues to support and drive key people initiatives.
- Communication & Liaison : Act as a liaison between employees, managers, the Reasonable Accommodations team, employment law, employee relations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Case Management : Track and document all requests in centralized systems (HRCM and AskHR) from initiation through closure, ensuring timely and accurate case notes are maintained.
- Proactive Risk Management : Identify trends and propose actions to mitigate risk and improve the employee experience.
- Service Delivery : Ensure service delivery standards are consistently met or exceeded by providing high-quality support and guidance to all stakeholders.
- Judgment & Escalation : Exhibit exceptional judgment, escalating matters as appropriate when necessary.
- Interpersonal Skills : Build strong relationships with stakeholders, engendering trust and ensuring effective communication.
- Multitasking & Prioritization : Manage multiple workstreams and assignments in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Problem Solving : Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, taking initiative and using resourcefulness to address issues as they arise.
- Confidentiality : Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
