Job Summary :
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in Sterling OMS (Order Management Systems) and Microservices. This role will require interacting with traders and other business-facing stakeholders to drive the design, implementation, and support of OMS solutions in the retail or similar industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and technical skills, with expertise in FIX Messaging, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
OMS Implementation and Support :
Implement and support Sterling OMS solutions, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of retail or similar industries.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Coordinate with the technical team to ensure the smooth integration of Microservices in the OMS environment.
FIX Messaging / Format :
Utilize FIX messaging protocols to facilitate secure and efficient communication between trading systems, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Configure, implement, and manage FIX connections, ensuring high reliability and performance in trading environments.
Business Interaction :
Serve as the main point of contact for traders and other business teams, addressing functional and technical queries and providing support for business operations.
Ensure clear and effective communication with stakeholders, articulating technical concepts in business terms.
Issue Management and Incident Response :
Manage multiple business-critical issues and adapt to changing priorities, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Use ServiceNow or other ITIL tools for incident management, ticket workflows, and escalation processes.
Collaboration with Onsite / Offshore Teams :
Lead and support onsite and offshore teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution of tasks related to OMS projects.
Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to project milestones while supporting US business lines.
Functional Expertise :
Apply deep functional and industry knowledge to provide insights into OMS and Retail solutions.
Ensure OMS solutions align with business needs, and provide ongoing optimization and improvements.
Required Qualifications :
Experience :
8-10 years of experience in a technical business-facing role with a retailer or similar organization.
Strong experience working with Sterling OMS and Microservices.
FIX Messaging / Format experience is essential.
Communication Skills :
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with traders and business stakeholders.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable business terms.
Industry Knowledge :
In-depth functional knowledge of OMS and retail industry processes.
Technical Skills :
Strong technical background in software development lifecycle management.
Familiarity with incident management processes, including using ServiceNow and adhering to ITIL methodologies.
Adaptability and Multitasking :
Highly flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments.
Ability to manage multiple issues in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Onsite / Offshore Experience :
Experience working in an onsite / offshore model, specifically supporting US business lines.
Incident Management Experience :
Solid understanding of incident management, ticket workflows, and escalations using tools like ServiceNow or other ITIL-based systems.
Technical Familiarity :
Familiarity with Microservices architecture and its application in OMS environments.
Certifications (Optional) :
ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred)
FIX Protocol Certification (Preferred)
