Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to provide technical support and troubleshooting for data visualization platforms and client applications using Microsoft Power BI.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions, as well as assisting customers in leveraging Azure cloud applications to enhance data visualization and reporting.

The Power BI Developer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation, training users, and staying up to date with advancements in data visualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data visualization platforms and client applications on Microsoft Power BI.
  • Assist customers in leveraging Azure cloud applications to enhance data visualization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including application processes and best practices.
  • Train and guide users on the effective use of Power BI for data analysis and reporting in iData.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve issues related to data visualization and Azure integrations.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data visualization technologies and Azure services.

Required Qualifications :

  • Strong programming skills in languages including dotnet, Azure DevOps technologies, SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with business users and to support the Fund dataViz community of practice.
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple ongoing assignments and work independently in addition to contributing as part of a fast-paced and highly collaborative team.
  • Ability to quickly ramp-up on new / emerging technologies as required.
  • Ability to clearly document application designs and the related management and support procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud applications and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
  • Skillful with Windows OS client and server configuration and management; TCP / IP client / server communications.
  • Experience with Intranet, Extranet, and Internet applications.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a technical support role or customer service-oriented position.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI or Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Scientist Associate) is a plus.
