About this Position
Launched in 2024 by Year Up United and MassBio in partnership with the City of Boston the Life Sciences Career Alliance connects stakeholders across Greater Bostons life sciences workforce ecosystem to create sustainable systems that enhance employment outcomes for local talent and build a diverse futureready entrylevel workforce pipeline for employers. We are seeking an Engagement Manager to oversee and coordinate the externalfacing activities for the Alliance focusing on engaging employers stakeholders and training providers to develop and maintain strategic partnerships. This role involves creating and implementing communication strategies managing social media channels and building relationships with key external stakeholders to drive engagement and contentbased sales efforts. The Manager will be responsible for managing highquality external communications including emails and meetings in a fastpaced startup environment. This is a hybrid position that will report to the Senior Director Alliance Lead and must be based in the Greater Boston area.
Job Responsibilities :
Marketing & Communications
Manage the Alliances social media presence to enhance visibility and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Coordinate with internal marketing teams and external experts to develop execute and deliver campaigns content and communication materials.
- Collaborate on social media strategy to ensure content aligns with the Alliances objectives and enhances brand presence across platforms like LinkedIn Meta TikTok and Instagram.
- Utilize a contentbased sales approach to engage external stakeholders and drive communication efforts.
Employer & Training Provider Engagement
Coordinate and support employer relationship development including scheduling member introduction meetings and advisory council meetings.
External Relationship Management
Manage communication strategies for external stakeholders to enhance visibility and engagement in career programs.
Tech & Social Media
Oversee social media strategy and content creation on platforms like LinkedIn and X to engage external stakeholders and amplify the Alliances message.
