Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy team in a 100-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF). The DOR will be responsible for overseeing therapy services, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates with a background in Physical Therapy (PT) or Speech Therapy (ST) are preferred; however, we may consider Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA).
Schedule & Salary:
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Monday - Friday (No weekend rotation)
- Salary Range: $80,558 - $92,560 per year
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate rehabilitation services (PT, OT, ST) within the SNF.
- Supervise therapy staff, including therapists and assistants.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for rehabilitation services.
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Oversee budgeting, staffing, and daily operations of the therapy department.
- Maintain and improve patient care standards within the facility.
Requirements:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Speech Therapist (ST), PTA, or COTA (preferred PT or ST).
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement policies.
