Forrest Solutions is seeking a Records Associate to manage the Records Department at our client's corporate legal firm in Dallas. This role requires proven expertise in legal records, exceptional attention to detail , and the ability to work independently while being part of a larger support team.

- Implement and improve records management systems for efficiency.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Records Department.
- Ensure compliance with law firm records policies and procedures .
- Maintain detailed logs of record retrieval and storage activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for records-related requests.
- Work independently while coordinating with a 4-person Forrest Solutions team .
- Provide excellent customer service to attorneys, legal staff, and clients.
- Utilize document management systems like NetDocs and iManage (experience preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams for communication and tracking.
- Maintain strong data entry practices for accurate records maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to records storage and handling.
- Perform regular safety checks and address any issues proactively.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal records or legal administrative experience in a law firm .
- Proven ability to manage records independently in a legal environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and data entry accuracy .
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and manage physical records.
- Willingness to travel within Dallas as needed.
