Job Description
The Project Services Project Director is responsible for organization, project and program management, and monitoring of the successful development and implementation of all project controls for projects and programs as assigned. This includes the creation and maintenance of the following project and program control processes :
- Ownership and coordination of the project and program deliverables management process.
- Assured compliance with project and program control minimum standards.
- Production of overall program status reports.
- Day-to-day oversight of key special projects.
Typical hospital operational projects, these include strategic growth projects, performance improvement, service line enhancement and also some market expansion type projects. These may fluctuate and change, but a current state.
The position requires solid communication skills to lead project teams, as well as to interface with other departments (including ITG), business partners, and leadership. The Project Director must be results-oriented with a demonstrated strong commitment and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Moderate to heavy travel may be required.
Duties (included but are not limited to) :

o Microsoft Office applications (including OneNote, OneDrive, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint to include Office Timeline add-on)
o Online collaboration tools, such as WebEx, WebEx Teams, online facilitation tools and / or other conference calling tools
o Project Management tools, project scheduling tools, agile scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project, MS Planner and / or another project scheduling tool

Education :
comparable Bachelor’s Degree (may be substituted with 7 to 10 years relevant experience).
Experience :
Special Skills
Executive presence, ability to engage and work collaboratively with executives and other stakeholders. Hospital operational PM experience would be ideal, ability to create structure around open ended questions. A strong leader that can help execute and deliver on top division initiatives
