Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (Standard Business Hours)
Onsite : Yes
Duration : 6-month contract with possibility of extension and / or conversion
Travel Required : Yes, up to 10%
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Director to oversee hospital operational projects, including strategic growth initiatives, performance improvement, service line enhancements, and market expansion. This position involves managing multiple key projects, ensuring successful implementation, and leading teams to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have hospital operational project management experience, executive presence, and the ability to work collaboratively with executives and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required :
5 years of project management experience, preferably within healthcare operations (Required).
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and teams.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage with executives and stakeholders.
Ability to create structure around open-ended projects and manage evolving priorities.
PMP certification preferred; LEAN / Six Sigma certifications a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience with healthcare systems, financial services, and project management tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate and manage project deliverables and ensure compliance with project control standards.
Communicate effectively with Parallon Business Units, Service Centers, Corporate, and Facility stakeholders to manage project goals.
Develop project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and detailed project plans.
Lead project teams, facilitate decision-making, and manage risks and issues.
Mentor and guide project management staff to ensure quality work and team integration.
Monitor project and program status, track performance, and report progress.
Oversee the integration of large-scale technology projects in collaboration with ITG.
Maintain quality assurance and ensure projects meet audit standards.
Foster strategic relationships to advance business goals and drive collaboration across departments.

Physical Demands :
