JobsRUs.com formerly CorTech is a service-oriented staffing / recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for a Temporary Office Assistant in Palmyra, NY.
Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm, 40 hours
18.50-20 / hour

Responsibilities will include providing organizational overflow support for this fast-paced management office and providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and co-workers. Other duties will include, but not be limited to, answering phones, greeting incoming visitors, processing incoming / outgoing mail, preparing office correspondence and completion of forms, maintaining files, and ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
Office Assistant Job Duties :
- Minimum 1 to 3 years prior multi-housing property experience preferred.
- Knowledge of affordable housing industry compliance software program(s) required for processing state, federal applications.
- Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills to meet required deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist internal and external customers.
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); accurate data entry and proofreading skills.
- Prior Yardi Voyager experience with affordable housing modules preferred; OR other housing compliance software skills with willingness to quickly learn Yardi.
- Basic Accounting skills with understanding of receivables, payables, and ability to assess incomes in relation to compliance regulations.
