DESCRIPTION :
The Business System Analyst works as a member of the D&T (Digital and Tech) team within the Information Services division (IS).
The Business System Analyst provides application support, business requirements gathering and analysis for the community of users in the area of creation and product selection domain.
Job Responsibilities :
Serve as a primary contact for a designated community of users
Participate to delivery of the following services : gathering requirements, taking and following up user requests, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, suggesting process improvements, performing internal acceptance testing, and supervising user acceptance testing
Participate in incident resolution, data extraction and other operational activities in support of specific business applications
Participate to meetings with business users and D&T personnel for defining, prioritizing and resolving user requests (day-to-day or project-related)
Advise super-users on application usage, finding solutions and proposing workarounds when appropriate
Participate in project preparation activities
Required Experience :
Must be proficient with Jira, Confluence and Excel
Strong IT background, especially in the area of application development, testing and support
Strong analytical skills and ability to deal efficiently with complex or multi-functional issues
Good knowledge of business process analysis techniques and tools
Experience in Agile SCRUM methodology
Customer service oriented, flexible and open minded
Good organizational skills and ability to manage opposing interests and resolve conflicts
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a larger team
Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and customers with different cultural background
Ability to quickly acquire new skills and to craft creative solutions by thinking outside the box
Willingness to travel to support application rollouts and other project activities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Individual Accountabilities :
Business Analysis which requires a strong analytical mindset
Deliver the following services :
Gathering requirements
Taking and following up user requests
Translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Suggesting process improvements and
Coordinating user acceptance testing
Advise super-users on application usage, finding and proposing workarounds
Coordinating inter-system changes
Participating and leading in UAT’s
Participating to testing strategy (definition and execution)
Manage assigned incidents at L3 and L2 support in the area of responsibility
Analyze data transfer issues
Manage assigned data extraction and other operational activities
Participate collaboratively in joint incident resolution, data extraction and other operational activities in support of business applications (with other members of the FCI Integration team and Global D&T teams).
When needed, manage delivery for business area (with business stakeholders, IS colleagues and external consultants or programmers)
Support the IBS team and IS in improving processes (with Process Owners and other designated participants)
Travel to FCI Site in Milwaukee to manage successful delivery with integration team #ZR
