Description We are looking for candidates with expertise in Standard Cost Accounting and experience in manufacturing.Job Summary: The Cost Accountant will be responsible for supporting and training teams on maintaining standard costs, conducting ongoing cost analysis, ensuring inventory accuracy and control, and providing professional guidance on projects related to costing and inventory. This role is a key member of the costing team, supporting costing functions and other accounting areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide training on the annual physical inventory exemption application.
- Lead and provide training on the annual standard cost rollup in ERP.
- Support and guide compliance with audit and regulatory requirements related to costing and inventory.
- Provide advice and oversight on various projects related to costing and inventory controls.
- Conduct research and provide insights on costing and inventory management best practices.
- ERP Tools and Software - Strong proficiency in Oracle ERP and other financial reporting tools.
- Excel - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred; Associate’s Degree acceptable.
- Minimum of 2 years of related Cost Accounting experience required.
