Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, reporting to the Project Lead. This role is responsible for managing and supporting multiple workstreams within a global finance transformation program, ensuring seamless strategy execution and project completion. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in delivering successful transitions and integrations, leading direct and indirect teams across geographically dispersed locations. This individual must be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders at both regional and global levels and possess the ability to drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight. This position will focus on workstreams involving people, process, technology, and real estate to deliver the end-state Target Operating Model for MMC Finance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing large-scale change initiatives and a proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support various project workstreams across functions and regions.
- Communicate project activities, priorities, and progress to key stakeholders, including senior management.
- Manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Utilize project implementation documentation, including toolkits and migration schedules, to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify and escalate project risks and their impact on business initiatives while proposing mitigation strategies.
- Develop and present strategic documents, including business cases, assessments, communication plans, and detailed project roadmaps.
- Facilitate decision-making processes for assigned projects, ensuring timely resolutions to challenges.
- Implement and oversee project controls, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, manage deliverables, mitigate risks, and drive adherence to change control processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 2-3 years of project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, with the ability to drive complex initiatives to successful completion.
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
