This position is ideal for a candidate looking to develop into a skilled trial attorney. The role involves direct participation in all aspects of litigation, including :
- Trying cases and preparing cases for trial
- Taking and defending depositions
- Preparing witnesses for depositions and trial testimony
- Attending mediations and settlement conferences
- Arguing motions and participating in court hearings
- Conducting legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
