Job Summary :
Our title company is seeking a skilled Real Estate Attorney to join our team in Flushing, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of real estate transactions, including title searches, contract negotiations, closings, and other legal matters related to real estate. The Real Estate Attorney will work closely with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other professionals to ensure that all transactions are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct title searches and resolve any issues that arise
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions
Attend and conduct closings
Advise clients on legal matters related to real estate
Work closely with real estate agents, lenders, and other professionals involved in real estate transactions
Represent clients in court or before government agencies as needed
Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations
Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the legal team
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar Association
Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law
Knowledge of New York State real estate laws and regulations
Strong negotiation and drafting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
Experience with title insurance is preferred
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
