We are seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Case Manager to join one of our top clients in the Rancho Mirage area. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting injured workers by ensuring they receive the care, benefits, and assistance they need to recover and, if possible, return to work. You'll coordinate medical care, manage paperwork, and guide clients through the complexities of the workers' compensation process.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support :
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on their cases and gather information about injuries, treatments, and disability status.
Document all client interactions in Smart Advocate under "Client Contact, " aiming for 90% contact every 30 days.
Notify clients of required appearances through written or verbal communication and send timely reminders.
File Management :
Prepare and submit necessary paperwork via EAMS.
Review case files every 45 days, ensuring they are updated with the latest information.
Request and organize medical records, prepare summaries and ratings, and complete other relevant documentation.
Schedule and confirm client appointments, keeping work plans and tasks current.
Ensure case files are complete and ready for attorney review ahead of hearings or meetings.
