Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Finance Partner with a passion for learning and growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis and reporting skills, a firm understanding of accounting principles, and superb analytical capabilities. Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential. This role requires a balance between precision and efficiency in a dynamic, results-oriented environment. Over time, the candidate will expand their expertise to provide financial support across various finance areas including manufacturing operations, R&D, or in developing our future airline business.
Responsibilities
- Create clear and impactful reports that effectively communicate analysis results and key insights to non-finance personnel and the management team.
- Optimize and adapt our financial analysis software to improve efficiency in both processes and analysis.
- Analyze financial results thoroughly, identify underlying drivers, and forecast business operations accurately.
- Identify and communicate trends to assist the management team in making timely, informed decisions.
- Support day-to-day reporting and analytic requests with accurate and timely information.
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial results and assist in year-end financial audits.
- Develop and improve the long-term business models.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and strengthen the business.

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $70,800 - $117,500 / year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
