Senior Account Executive-Enterprise Sales Director
Looking for an independent leader and team player who loves Joe Coffee, is growth-minded and strategic. This candidate will know how to find solutions and leverage existing resources to develop and execute the company-wide sales strategy. This person will work systematically and with a quick pace to support all efforts to bring on new strategic accounts and maintain and nurture existing client relationships. This person likes and excels at data analytics and is organized and intentional in their sales approach. This person reports directly to the VP of Business Development and supports all wholesale partnership sales and DTC/B2B e-comm sales strategies. A Senior Account Executive and Director will have specific sectors/markets that they have specialized knowledge to unlock opportunities in, and understand the economics and strategy for success. A senior team member will be able to unlock and negotiate distribution deals and create new revenue streams.
HIGH LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales: Close inbound opportunities in an efficient, intentional and impactful manner that is aligned with company ethics/mission. Drive a strategy for outbound enterprise accounts across multiple sectors and states, juggling multiple opportunities at the same time. Negotiate and onboard key relationships with distributors and maintain velocities for successful partnerships. Deliver revenue and profitability goals, with a focus on effective and creative business development. Thorough in understanding the path forward and has an organized process for getting there. Sets goals and achieves them. Support sales strategies that drive and compliment all e-comm partners and channels. Work with other team members to win deals when necessary, but know how to independently manage and launch a project from start to finish.
Leverage existing resources: Effectively work cross functionally with all departments to execute sales goals, educate customers, showcase and present, nurture and grow existing relationships, implement programs and product solutions. Work with Salesforce and other internal tools to make informed and strategic decisions. Is thorough in understanding what resources are needed to level up, and is able to make strategic recommendations or operational solutions to get there.
Fulfillment and Supply Chain: Coordinate with production/supply chain for new launches, understanding and conveying the impact of new opportunities on current inventory positions. Strategize effectively based on lead times and execution.
Analytics: Forecast and model opportunities in line with ROI metrics and sales targets. Goal-oriented and focused at hitting KPIs. Use data to drive vision and strategy and unlock targets and goals. Cares about hitting revenue targets but also being profitable and the costs for success.
Pitches: Travel and lead/support pitches, expos and events to win opportunities and grow existing relationships. Coordinate tastings and tours. Design new content and decks to be executed by the marketing department to support strategies.
Customer Service and Hospitality: Always focus on meeting Joe customers where they are with enlightened hospitality. Enthusiastic and engaging brand ambassador who appreciates the unique Joe vibe, loves coffee and likes to close meaningful deals.
Qualifications
- Exhibits the 4C’s of Joe Coffee: curious, craft, community, and commitment
- Loves coffee, coffee CPG, and product innovation and providing solutions to customers
- 6-8 years in wholesale/enterprise/e-comm sales, preferably in coffee or supply chain and with leadership experience
- Preferably has a history of having worked in a cafe or serving coffee
- Solutions driven, organized, and analytics whiz
- Flexibility for travel, and schedule changes
- Hybrid office schedule: must be in person 3 days a week, with potentially 4 days as required by clients; Fridays generally remote but must be local during remote days
- Focused, organized, strategic, accountable, team player that can hit the ground running
- Knowledge of specific growth sectors/markets with specialized knowledge to unlock opportunities in, and understand the economics and path for success
Salary and Benefits
- Base pay $80,000-$100,000, plus quarterly incentives and discretionary end of year bonus
