Reports to: Senior Manager, Marketing
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Salaried-Exempt
Normal Working Hours – Office Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, in our corporate San Antonio office.
As a Marketing Coordinator at Joeris General Contractors, you will be at the forefront of shaping and amplifying our brand, bringing to life our mission to “transform people and places.” This dynamic role emphasizes creativity, storytelling, and branding, offering an exciting opportunity to craft a public image that reflects our strategic objectives. As part of the Marketing Communications (MarComm) domain—a specialized team within the broader marketing department, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including social media content creation, graphic design, project photography coordination, website updates, and internal and external communications. You’ll also play a key role in supporting events and developing award submissions that highlight Joeris’ excellence. Collaborating closely with fellow MarComm specialists, proposal domain teammates, internal and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure every project is cohesive, impactful, and aligned with Joeris’ brand standards. From writing engaging blogs to designing marketing collateral and supporting Joeris employee and signage storefronts, every day will bring new opportunities to tell Joeris’ story in meaningful and innovative ways. Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or Business, including but not limited to Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Business Administration, Creative Writing, and Graphic Design.
- Professional Marketing or Communications experience (1-3 years preferred)
- Experience with graphic design and content development
- Experience with digital marketing including website management, social media, and writing blog posts
- Experience with professional writing
- Experience with branding and writing to brand voice and brand guidelines
