FLSA Status: Full-Time, Salaried-Exempt
Normal Working Hours – Office Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, in our corporate San Antonio office
As a Proposal Coordinator at Joeris General Contractors, you will be at the heart of driving our business growth and showcasing our excellence in construction. This pivotal role blends strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration, offering you the chance to shape how we communicate our expertise and win new opportunities. As part of the Proposal domain—a specialized team within the broader marketing department—you will lead the development of compelling proposals and RFP responses that demonstrate our capabilities and align with our mission to “transform people and places.”
In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you'll be involved in every aspect of the proposal process, from strategy and content creation to graphic design and final production. You’ll collaborate with various internal departments to ensure each submission reflects Joeris’ standards of quality and professionalism. Beyond proposals, you'll assist with interview preparation meetings, refine marketing collateral, and maintain our library of assets and project documentation.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with degree or coursework in Business, Marketing, or Communications, including but not limited to technical writing, journalism, graphic design, integrated marketing communications, creative writing, speech communication and rhetoric, English language and literature, international and global studies, construction science, architecture, sociology, organizational leadership, history, and philosophy.
- Experience with or training in graphic design and page layout.
- 2-3 years of A/E/C Industry experience recommended.
- Experience in RFP/RFQ proposal strategy, development, and production recommended.
