Overview:
Position Objective: As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead Joeris' strategic talent initiatives by developing, implementing, and overseeing recruitment strategies to attract and secure top industry talent while serving as a brand ambassador for our organization. This role combines leadership in recruitment strategy with relationship building to strengthen our workforce and enhance our company's reputation in the community. You will be responsible for sourcing efforts, optimizing candidate evaluation processes, managing recruitment team activities, representing Joeris at industry events and career fairs, and play a key role in elevating our employer brand while sharing our unique culture and opportunities with potential team members.
o Sourcing and screening candidates using iCIMS applicant tracking system, Linkedin, phone calls, email, etc.
o Gathering feedback from hiring managers to progress or reject candidates, adjust recruiting efforts if needed
o Manage the candidate experience to ensure interactions reflect Joeris’ values
o Participating in interviews and providing feedback to hiring managers
o Advising on offer details such as compensation, sign on bonuses and other relevant benefits leveraging Joeris’ internal compensation information and FMI/PAS salary survey data
o Presenting job offers verbally and in writing via iCIMS ATS and following up with candidates to answer any questions and respond to any counter to job offers
o Facilitate pre-hire screenings, background and drug screening and utilizing iCIMS ATS to ensure new hire information flows to Dynamics HRIS.
o Planning and facilitating new hire onboarding
o Comprehensive internship program development
o Event participation and public speaking
o Active engagement with industry associations and high schools
o Quality metrics (90/180 day performance rating, percentage of hires retained, hiring manager satisfaction)
o Source metrics (performance/retention by source, cost per source, applicant to hire ratio)
o Efficiency metrics (acceptance rate, interviews per hire, candidate drop off by stage, counters)
o Financial metrics (Cost per hire, agency cost ratio, recruiting budget variance)
Qualifications:
Reports to: Human Resources Director
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt
Normal Working Hours – Office Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, plus additional hours, to possibly include Saturdays and Sundays, as needed. Travel throughout Texas required.

Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with Business Unit Leaders to align recruitment efforts with Joeris' strategic people plan
- Establishing and implementing talent assessment frameworks to evaluate candidates' cultural fit, skills, competencies, and alignment with company values, focusing on proactive search and relationship-building for experienced construction professionals
- Provides leadership, supervision, and mentorship to the Talent Acquisition team, fostering their professional development and ensuring operational excellence
- Leading the entire recruitment lifecycle, including:
o Sourcing and screening candidates using iCIMS applicant tracking system, Linkedin, phone calls, email, etc.
o Gathering feedback from hiring managers to progress or reject candidates, adjust recruiting efforts if needed

- Establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including Business Unit Leaders, potential candidates, and external recruitment partners
- Strategically managing the talent acquisition team's external brand representation, including:
o Comprehensive internship program development
o Event participation and public speaking
o Active engagement with industry associations and high schools
Overseeing ATS and HRIS use of recruitment and employee data to maintain key metrics related to talent acquisition such as:
o Quality metrics (90/180 day performance rating, percentage of hires retained, hiring manager satisfaction)
o Source metrics (performance/retention by source, cost per source, applicant to hire ratio)
o Efficiency metrics (acceptance rate, interviews per hire, candidate drop off by stage, counters)
o Financial metrics (Cost per hire, agency cost ratio, recruiting budget variance)
- Additional strategic initiatives as required to support Joeris' talent acquisition and organizational growth objectives
- Providing strategic guidance on employee relations, talent development, and organizational culture initiatives
- Continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and procedures
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Communications, Sociology or relevant business degree)
- 5 years recruiting experience, focus on the construction industry preferred
- Certified Staffing Professional Certification or Human Resources specific certification preferred
