Title Plant Coordinator and Title and Office Support Role
Title plant coordinator duties
- Coordinate with local government offices to obtain data.
- Coordinate with offsite partners to ensure accurate data entry in our title plant.
- Coordinate with onsite team members and local government offices to record new documents.
- Verify accuracy of data entry in our title plant, and correct errors discovered.
- Data entry into our title plant of certain types of information: subdivision plats, tax sale, personal property judgments, mortgage foreclosures.
- Verify accuracy of documents before recording, and work to correct errors on rejected recordings.
- Collect and organize data for the mortgage market share report.
- Coordinate Title Plant and Recording accounting with management and other local title companies.
Title and office support duties
- Do preliminary out of county searches and order full searches from our search partners
- Do out of county updates for policy production and coordinate with our policy production team member(s).
- Provide backup to our Monroe County abstractor(s).
- Coordinate with supply vendors and management on printer, postage, water and other supplies.
- Provide low level tech support and coordinate with our offsite tech support on certain technical issues (e.g. new workstations, printer & copier issues, etc.)
Key skills & competencies
- You have a high level of attention to detail.
- You are organized and are able to use checklists and calendar reminders to keep track of your position within multiple multi-step processes at the same time.
- You learn to use new software programs quickly.
- You have a basic understanding of databases.
- You know how to set up a computer workstation, change a printer or copier cartridge, and can perform other low level technical tasks.
- You have good communications skills in both writing and speaking.
Starting wage and other job details
- $18-$20/hr depending on experience
- This is a full-time, in-person position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
