Seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Private Equity Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the accounting, reporting, and financial analysis functions related to private equity investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reports for private equity funds.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile investment-related accounts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Support the valuation process of private equity investments by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and track investment returns.
- Assist in the preparation of internal reports for senior management and investors.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency within private equity accounting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 3-5 years experience in public accounting or a mix of public/private experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, investment accounting principles, and private equity fund structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting systems, and fund accounting software.
- CPA or CFA license (or working towards it) is a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
