JFK Memorial Hospital is a 145-bed acute-care hospital that provides medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley. Our hospital was founded by a group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, and today one of our cross streets is named in his honor.
We offer a variety of services, including emergency care 24/7, orthopedic and joint replacement services using emerging technology, cardiovascular services, maternity care and pediatric services, ambulatory surgery center, imaging services, and outpatient rehabilitation center.
As an RN II in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all patient populations. You will use critical thinking skills in triage and in providing care for all categories and types of Emergency Department patients.
You will oversee RNs, ED Techs, and CNAs, and use effective verbal and written skills to communicate with people on all levels. You will maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians, and participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities and monitoring as requested.
