Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, execute, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans with measurable outcomes.
- Assess and document patient health through interviews, examinations, observations, and review of medical histories.
- Diagnose health conditions, order and interpret lab work and diagnostic studies following established protocols.
- Document all patient encounters and sign medical charts within 72 hours as per industry standards and guidelines.
- Develop treatment plans addressing dysfunction and disease while minimizing risk of further injury.
- Preset and dispense medication when granted authority in accordance with State licensure and staff privileges.
- Employ evidence-based approaches to shared decision-making respecting patient preferences and social norms while targeting optimal treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California.
- 1 years of relevant work experience as Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
