As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Housekeeping Technician to join our Environmental Services team at our Long Term Care Facility. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package
A Housekeeping Technician:
- Cleans patient rooms; duties including but are not limited to: disinfecting all surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning of sinks, counter areas, shower and toilet, dusting, mopping and vacuuming, restocking paper products, changing bedding and shampooing the carpet.
- Disinfects all public areas duties including but are not limited to: sinks, toilets, washing walls, damp mop, damp disinfecting all areas, disinfecting handrails, replacement of blinds and shampooing carpets, buffing or waxing of floors in areas where needed.
- Follows proper procedure for separating regular waster versus bio hazardous waste and storage of clean and dirty linens.
- Cleans Ancillary areas duties including but are not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, trash disposal, damp disinfecting.
Shift:
- Full-Time
- 7:30am - 3:30pm ; 80 hours every two weeks
