CIVIL ENGINEER

Responsibilities

Perform office related civil project engineer function in a dynamic and fast pace work environment
Be capable of producing high quality designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Land Development
Drafting plans from scratch, design grading for lot sites, create road profiles and pipe runs
Perform drainage analysis for land development projects using Hydro CAD or similar product
Manage and permit land projects at the local and state level, meeting all required regulations
Work in a team environment with the land surveyors and engineers
Continually prioritize workload to meet changing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Project management of civil projects including permitting, design and as built close out.
Deliver projects on time and on budget

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar technical discipline

FE / EIT Certification; PE License preferred

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a civil design engineer for land development projects

Have prior experience in the design and permitting of land development projects, both commercial and residential

Experienced in performing storm water modeling analysis using Hydro Cad or similar product

Experienced in road and drainage design and storm water management, experience with title 5 requirements and septic design

Must be capable of managing multiple priorities at once

Proficient in AutoCAD land development and civil 3D

Experience attending public hearings at the City and Town level

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to work cohesively in a team environment

Conduct self professionally and courteously with clients

Possess strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

Must maintain a valid driver license and have a good driving record
