In this role, you will assist in the planning, procurement, and execution of project scopes, working from preconstruction through closeout. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with a flexible and adaptive mindset. Your daily activities will be engaging on the job site and require collaboration and strategic thinking in the office. Key Responsibilities :
- Collecting and distributing vital information to subcontractors, consultants, architects, and clients.
- Initiating, preparing, reviewing, and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Receiving, reviewing, submitting, and monitoring the status of submittals.
- Managing assigned trades, including quantity take-offs and preparation of bid packages.
- Assisting in navigating the project permit process.
- Maintaining and tracking workflow requirements for assigned tasks.
- Overseeing change management systems, including negotiating change orders with subcontractors and communicating these changes to the project team.
- Tracking subcontractor deliverables and ensuring quality control.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly project status reports for owners as required.
- Leading or attending project meetings as assigned.
- Coordinating project activities and managing document control.
- Supporting project closeouts.
- Contributing to the professional development of junior team members.
- Participating in the implementation of JMAV's Safety & Health Management Plan.
