Summary
We are seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to join our team at John P. O'Sullivan Distributing. This role is essential in supporting our Controller and Human Resources Department by managing onboarding, organizing office tasks, and ensuring smooth communication within the company. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in beverage distribution.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling onboarding tasks, consisting of background checks, drug screening and initiating onboarding through payroll application. Communication with hiring managers through the process of assuring complete information before new employee starts with the company
- Processing payroll updates for seasonal workers as needed
- Documenting staffing changes to the non-union 401K administrator
- Coordinating HR correspondence such as, but not limited to, updates to the Employee Handbook, insurance annual open enrollment and gathering benefit information from new hires after probation period
- Coordinating workman’s compensation claims
- Candidate will also assist the CEO and COO with scheduling and administrative tasks
- Candidate will assist with reception duties when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or work equivalent
- Five years of administrative support experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize workload efficiently.
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Scheduling experience
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support team members.

Pay: $15.95 - $23.00 per hour
