Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to provide financial and administrative services.
Duties:
· Process accounts receivables and all incoming payments.
· Manage and process all company bills and invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records.
· Provide help to office by taking customer service phone calls.
· Perform monthly Credit Card / Bank Reconciliations.
· Distribute daily mail to the appropriate departments.
· Be able to update and maintain company Purchase Orders.
Responsibilities:
· Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
· Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and computing, posting and recording accounts receivables and accounts payable data.
· Prepare bills, invoices and statements.
· Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
· Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
· Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders, and contact clients regarding payment status.
Requirements:
· Proven working experience as accounts receivable or accounts payable.
· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
· Data entry skills along with knowledge of accounting.
· Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software, QuickBooks and Excel.
· Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
· Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting roles.
· High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
· Associates Degree / Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
