Folder Gluer Operator

Job Description

Our newly established packaging division is looking for an experienced Folder/Gluer Operator to join our team. With the recent installation of a new Omega folder/gluer in our expanded operation, you'll be responsible for setting up, running, and troubleshooting the machines to produce cartons and commercial print that meet customer specifications. Your expertise will be key to ensuring smooth machine operation and quality output in the Finishing Department.

Essential Duties

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain Folder/Gluer equipment.
• Prepare make-ready feeder, pre-fold, glue system, final fold, delivery, stacker, pack station, and inspection system.
• Set up and adjust machines for various carton shapes, ensuring proper folding and glue adhesion.
• Conduct quality checks to meet system standards, following safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Suggest improvements to optimize efficiency and machine speed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Folder/Gluer and gluing systems.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience operating a folder/gluer machine.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of die-cutting processes and equipment.
• Leadership experience with the ability to train and mentor others is highly preferred.

Pay Range: $27-33 *Based on experience*
