Estimator (Mid-Level)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for bridge, highway and utility construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications and understand the construction process necessary to complete the work and prepare an accurate bid.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project requirements.
- Create scoping documents, level subcontractor bids to determine best value, negotiate with subcontractors and vendors to get the best price.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or significant, relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of combined field and construction estimating experience.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software.
