As a VDC Pre-Construction Coordinator, you will take charge of the Pre-Construction process during its critical early stages. You will ensure seamless communication between the Pre-Construction and Operations teams, expertly overseeing scheduling, tracking, document control, and deliverables. Additionally, you will play a role in forecasting costs and profits, driving efficiency and success throughout the project’s initial phases.

What We Ask of You:
- Track and schedule Stratus Project Kick-Off Meetings for VDC, Shop, and Field teams, ensuring readiness and awareness of Stratus implementation on projects.
- Schedule, track, forecast, and report labor hours related to Pre-Construction efforts, including VDC and Fabrication activities.
- Assist VDC Managers in project reviews to help develop project-specific VDC execution plans, including the VDC Milestone Schedule.
- Collaborate with the field project team and supervise pre-construction to create project-specific schedules and area layouts for manufacturing deliverables, with regular follow-ups and updates as projects evolve.
- Facilitate VDC Kick-off meetings using a pre-planned agenda to ensure structured discussions and clear objectives.
- Coordinate Fabrication Kick-off meetings with a pre-planned agenda to align project expectations and goals.
- Gain proficiency in the Stratus process to effectively support VDC and Shop operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including job applications, quotes, billings, scheduling, and take-offs.
- Maintain an up-to-date VDC workload spreadsheet to track project assignments and resource allocation.
- Manage the fabrication schedule, including upcoming work and a three-week look-ahead to ensure timely project execution.
- Perform day-to-day administrative functions to support smooth operations and team efficiency.
Experience & Competencies:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Advanced organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, 401(k), with company match, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The estimated compensation range for this role is $60,000-$75,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.
