ESL High School Summer Program Teacher
ESL Summer Program (Anticipated Funding from 186 Grant) Teachers are needed for the Summer Program. Two teachers will instruct immigrant students in the 2.5 credit elective "English for the Workplace". Teachers will be supported by a paraprofessional. Teacher applicants must be ESL licensed teachers or licensed teachers who have completed an SEI endorsement course. Teacher applicants should be familiar with culturally responsive pedagogy, a variety of assessment strategies, SEI strategies, and the development of English language proficiency.
Dates of program - July 7 - August 1 (20 days), Program Hours - 8:45 am - 1:15 pm
Total Stipend - $5,250 ($50 x 105 hours)
