Wood is recruiting for an E&I Construction Specialist. This is a temporary role to join our team in Bay City, TX. You will be reporting directly to the Construction Manager. To be successful in your role, you will have prior experience in the construction of modularized Industrial Facilities

Your responsibilities will be:
- Accountable for the safe and timely preparation and execution of the project Electrical & Instrument commissioning work scope in adherence with project HSEQ safety targets, procedures and practices
- Accountable for ensuring E&I work is carried out in accordance with project schedules and budget
- To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
- Actively participate in all company and project safety and quality initiatives
- To process safe completion of designated E&I activities in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely manner
- To assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilization of efficient and working practices
- Audit site / project activities on a regular basis to ensure all compliance with project safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Monitor and report E&I progress on a regular basis
- Ensure a safe Permit to Work and isolation system is in place and adhered to

Ideally, you have previous Electrical & Instrumentation experience
In addition, you will have:
- Appropriate level of experience in an Industrial industry sector
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Good standard of general computer literacy
- Fully conversant with regards to discipline technical knowledge
- Proven experience of interpreting discipline documentation
- Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan
