This candidate will focus on leading a team of Controls Engineers responsible for designing application specific Controls Systems for the John Zink product suite, primarily in the revamp / retrofit space.

What You Will Do
- Be a culture leader and positive example of Principle Based Management (PBM) Guiding Principles including integrity, stewardship & compliance, principled entrepreneurship, transformation, knowledge, humility, respect, and self-actualization.
- Motivate and lead a team of Controls Engineers and ensure the whole team is engaged and aligned with our Vision of being leaders in providing safe, compliant, innovative, and reliable control solutions for combustion and emissions equipment, while achieving superior mutually beneficial results.
- Responsible for the execution and quality of project deliverables assigned to Controls Engineers on their team.
- Solicit and provide feedback to all stakeholders impacted by their Controls Engineering team, to continuously seek improvement.
- Be responsible for the development of direct reports leading individuals toward self-actualization and long-term healthy careers.
Requirements (Basic Qualifications):
- Electrical engineering, process control, automation or controls engineering background in designing, specifying, operating, function testing, troubleshooting and commissioning industrial control panels
- Experience in leading technical teams including engineering activities, coaching, mentoring and influencing others
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Instrumentation Engineering or related technical engineering disciplines
- 5 years of industry experience
- Technical expertise related to combustion and emissions equipment
