B&B Theatres is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Short Form Video Editor to create compelling, clever, and engaging content for our social media channels. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller and quick thinker with expertise in social media trends, mobile editing apps, and short-form content creation that drives brand awareness, entertainment, and ticket conversion. Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Editing: Film, edit, and post short-form video content with a focus on entertainment and viral potential, tailored to platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.

Be and Stay Trendy: Stay up-to-the-minute on current social media trends, memes, and best practices to develop shareable content that resonates with audiences.

Creative Development: Collaborate with the social media and content teams to brainstorm, pitch, and execute original ideas that align with the B&B Theatres brand.

Brand Consistency: Learn and embody the B&B Theatres voice and aesthetic, ensuring all content reflects our brand identity. Work closely with Content Director to ensure beats, alignment, and utility of produced pieces.

Mobile Editing Apps Expertise: Utilize tools like CapCut and other mobile-friendly editing apps to produce high-quality videos with a very quick turnaround.

Humor & Storytelling: Bring a fun, comedic edge and strong narrative understanding to all content, ensuring it's engaging, relatable, and sharable.

Timely Delivery: Work ahead of schedule to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining flexibility for real-time content creation.

Collaboration & Feedback: Actively participate in team discussions, accept constructive criticism, and humbly pursue continuous improvement.

Analytics & Performance: Tailor content to meet specific goals (e.g., entertainment, brand awareness, or ticket conversions) and evaluate success based on engagement metrics.

Multitasking: Juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in creating successful short-form video content for TikTok and other platforms (please provide links to your socials)

Ability to meet deadlines and quotas without exception.

Expertise in mobile editing apps (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush) and social media applications.

Exceptional editing skills, with a keen eye for timing, transitions, effects, and pacing.

A strong sense of humor and appreciation for when to apply it versus not.

Ability to generate viral content ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and stay ahead of deadlines.

Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to give and receive feedback.

Passion for storytelling, movies, and entertainment.

Familiarity with B&B Theatres or similar brands is a plus.
