Responsibilities:
- Assist CEO/Loan Officer in all aspects of the mortgage loan process, from application to closing.
- Utilize Encompass software to input and manage loan application data accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients, gather necessary documentation, and ensure all required information is complete for loan submissions.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and closings with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
- Support CEO/Loan Officer in preparing loan proposals, disclosures, and other required documents in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, providing timely updates on loan status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to facilitate smooth and timely loan processing and closing.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or similar role in the mortgage lending industry. 3 years' experience preferred.
- Proficiency in using Encompass software is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of mortgage loan products, terminology, and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., NMLS license) may be advantageous.
