Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Development, JHHCMC Foundation, this position is a key member of the fundraising team, executing identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, major, and planned gifts. This team member partners with physicians leveraging the grateful patient fundraising model, with a particular focus on neonatal and women’s health.
The Associate Director should possess outstanding communication skills, be highly organized, have strongwritten and analytical skills, and be capable of developing productive working relationships with faculty, grateful patients, and volunteers. Experience in crafting development strategies and complex proposals in coordination with other team members, faculty, and senior management is highly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree is required
Work Experience
- Requires four to six (4-6) years of experience in a fundraising position.
- Preferred experience includes personal solicitation and/or stewardship of prospects at the major gift level, preferably in health care of higher education.
