Location: 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224
Shift:
Full Time (40 hours)
Day Shift, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Non-Exempt; Pay Grade: 36
Position Summary:
* Files and retrieves radiologic films/CDs, radiology forms/documents
• Attends to customers' requests for films on disc or by electronic transfer
• Process second opinion reads and archiving in PACS
• Process requests for prior Mammo images performed at outside facilities • Tracks and follows up unread/unsigned imaging reports
• Tracks and follows up unsigned Nuc Med Pharm orders
• Audits of images and consent forms
• Request in retrieving and sending films/forms at storage
• Run weekly BCA checks
• Serves as a backup to support frontdesk registration duties
• Picks up Mail from the mail room and process returned mail
Education/Experience:
- Work requires a high school level of educational development and one year of previous experience.
- No certification, registration or licensure required.
- Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations where the information or problems are relatively routine.
- Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters. Incumbents must respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information. Work occasionally requires contact with patients and/or visitors, which involves courtesy.
