Position Summary :
The Engineering Maintenance Tech investigates building systems and document operational data. Prepares recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs and evaluations. This work is performed under the general supervision of the Engineering Project Manager and under the technical oversight of engineers.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent. An AA degree is preferred.
Specific training in the area of expertise (engineering and / or maintenance discipline) is equivalent to 1 year of college; such training may be at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
Knowledge :
Basic, current knowledge of two specialties listed below, as well as the relevant local, state, federal and regulatory stipulations and codes.

Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC- and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, and excel; basic knowledge of project management, presentation, maintenance / work order processing, and design / drawing.
Basic knowledge of commissioning.
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, on a college level.
Work Experience :
5 years related work experience.
Specialized system testing instrumentation as applicable to pertinent discipline.
Salary Range : Minimum [[CustSalaryMin]] per hour - Maximum [[CustSalaryMax]] per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
